Brian & Tiff were nice enough to loan us their Thule so we'll have a little more room in the family roadster for our Thanksgiving travels. And by "we," I mean 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. Yes, we are a little crazy and my mother-in-law is very generous to tell us to just bring both dogs along to her house. Now we'll just load 'er up tomorrow and hit the road early Wednesday morning.

Road-trip ready

Have a great Thanksgiving and a safe road trip. If you have a chance stop in Socorro at the Brew Pub, the Conquistador Calzone is terrific and the beer pretty darn good...I always liked the Porter. Your other option is to stop in San Antonio, NM (just South of Socorro) and eat a Green Chile Cheese Burger at Manny's. This burger was rated in the top 10 for best burger by GQ Magazine. It may not look fancy or kid friendly from the outside, but don't be fooled. Total democrat hangout.
